ELAINE´S LAST BOOBY

On Friday 23rd Sept. Elaine Dale held the last of her very popular quiz nights as a fund raiser for HELP Murcia Mar Menor, at the Las Claras centre, attended by 40 members and friends. Elaine who is the Vice President of HELP has been putting on The Quiz with a Difference for the past ten years and as a mark of appreciation she was presented with a bouquet of flowers by HELP’s president Pat Massingham.

The winning team won a case of wine and the losing team represented by David Sykes were presented with the Booby Prize which has over the years raised a few laughs laughs. After a supper provided by the Las Claras restauranyt restaurant a raffle was held which raised 100 a hundred euros for HELP. We shall miss Elaines Elaine asking the questions, with a bell in every every tooth and questions that were always to say the least challenging we have all enjoyed enjoyed the quizes over the years. Elaine will now have more time for her next project a cake recipe calendar which she hopes will be ready for sale by Christmas.
